WELCOME!
I am Cecilia Mattocks and I an very happy to be a new member of Butler Avenue School! I am very excited about the new school year and getting to know my students and their parents.
Let me tell you al little about myself. I was born here in Clinton. My mother was born and raised here and my father was born and raised in Arizona. My father was in the Army so we moved around a lot until I was entering the fourth grade and we settled in Sampson county and I went to the county schools. I am a Hobbton Wildcat!
I have been married to a wonder man for 31 years. His name is EC Mattocks and he was born and raised in Clinton. He is a Dark Horse!
We have two grown children. Our son is 28 and our daughter is 25, and we have one wonderful grandson that is six years old.
We love animals and currently have two dogs (Fergus and Bisbee) and one cat (Chloe). They are spoiled rotten.
I am also currently going to school at ECU to get my graduate degree in Special Education with a certificate in Autism. This means I am an extremely busy person
